Education

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela. Rahaman Welfare Trust, driven by this powerful belief, is diligently working towards transforming lives through education. With a clear vision of providing quality education, we have established and successfully run a school catering to children from nursery to class 4.

Our dedicated team of educators and staff ensures a nurturing environment where young minds flourish, fostering a love for learning and empowering them with knowledge. Together, let us build a brighter future, one child at a time.

Distribution of Study Materials

In our endeavour to empower backward classes, we have taken the initiative to organize donation camps to distribute essential study materials such as books, pens, geometry boxes, and bags to needy students. These materials serve as catalysts for education, opening doors to knowledge and opportunities. Inthses camps educated individuals lend their expertise, inspiring and motivating these students to strive for excellence. By equipping them with the necessary tools and guidance, we aim to break the barriers of educational disparity and nurture a brighter future for underprivileged students.

    Health

    Rahaman Welfare Trust firmly believes that healthcare is a fundamental right, irrespective of one’s economic status. But we are also aware that many unprivileged people of the marginalized sections are depriving this right due to their financial barriers. To address this issue we have taken the responsibility to bridge the gap and provide accessible medical facilities to them.

    We conduct regular health camps where we offer free medical consultations, essential medications, treatments, and check-ups to ensure that their physical needs are met for the betterment of the community. We express our gratitude to the dedicated medical professionals who have played a crucial role in making this initiative a success and lent their hand in our endeavour to ensure that every individual receives the care they deserve, fulfilling their basic physical needs.

    Clothes Distribution

    Clothing is a basic human need that grants a life of respect and dignity. However, the majority of the backward section of Murshidabad’s population belongs to underserved backgrounds and they cannot afford regular clothing due to their lower socioeconomic status. Regarding this issue, we initiate cloth distribution programs through which we provide wearable clothes totally free of cost. We also arrange a special cloth donation program on Eid to distribute new clothes to the needy so that they can also join the joy of this holy occasion. It brings us immense joy to fulfil their needs and bring smiles to their faces.

    Food Distribution

    We believe that serving the hungry with sufficient food is the noblest of works. Food distribution among the needy remains another objective of Rahaman Welfare Trust. Our trust has taken on the responsibility of organizing food camps during festivals and occasions to ensure that needy individuals have access to sufficient and nutritious meals.

    We deeply sympathize with the struggles faced by the underprivileged who lack regular nourishment and suffer from malnutrition. By arranging these camps regularly, we aim to alleviate their hardships and contribute to their overall well-being, promoting better health for a brighter future.

    Financial Support to Cancer Fighters

    Rahaman Welfare Trust extends its support to financially assist cancer patients who are unable to afford the expensive yet crucial treatments for this life-threatening disease.

    Though our resources are limited, our commitment to improving society remains unmoved. Driven by this commitment we have selected a number of deserving cancer patients facing significant financial hardships. We understand the burden they endure and strive to alleviate their monetary struggles, ensuring they have access to the quality treatment they need to fight this battle.

      Monetary Aid to Children

      We are also dedicated to supporting underprivileged children suffering from life-threatening diseases. We understand the financial constraints faced by their parents, who are unable to afford proper and quality treatment, and we have undertaken the initiative to provide financial assistance.

      Our motive is to ensure these children can access essential medicines and necessary healthcare services. We strive to give them a fighting chance to survive by easing the burden of medical expenses and leading healthier lives and also making a difference in the lives of these brave young souls.

      Assistance to Widows

      RWT extends its compassion towards widows who lack the means to lead a fulfilling and dignified life. We have identified a significant number of widows in need within the community. As a united resolution, we provide financial assistance and clothing, including sarees, to these impoverished widows. Our dedicated team of workers and well-wishers strive to uplift their lives, ensuring they can experience a sense of security and dignity in their daily existence.
